Given Enough Coffee....

Just had to share these adorable miniature coffee cups!  They are a perfect gift for your coffee-loving friends for Valentine's Day.  These were designed by Jan Burnett and we made them at her monthly Stamp Club.  I gave Jan a similar set of the decorated cups at Christmas, using the Winter Frost paper and filled them with chocolate kisses.  But I have to admit...hers are just so much cuter and so perfect for Valentine's Day!

You can buy coffee stirrers to insert in the lid hole, but I just cut a matching straw very short (of course, I just happened to have the exact color straw on hand).  The cups are only about 3 inches high and I purchased them from webrestaurant.com.  The lids are sold separately.  The web site was sold out of these cups about a month ago, but I'm sure they have re-stocked by now.  Here's a close-up of the lid:

Have you seen the Perfect Blend stamp set yet?   It comes in a set of 3 stamps and is only $10.95 (clear #131392).  One of the stamps is a take-out coffee cup and the third one says "Given enough coffee, I could rule the world, temporarily".  Yup - after my morning coffee, I kinda feel that way myself.

The hearts are from the stamp set "Hearts a Flutter" (Item #131922) and cut out with the Hearts a Flutter Framelit Dies (Item #130159).  Another perfect set for all your Valentine cards, pages, and treats.

These little cups can be decorated for your non-coffee drinking friends as well. Let me know if you are interested in making these - I would be happy to show you how!

And before you go, if you haven't already LIKED and/or SHARED my facebook page, please do so!  On March 1, I'm doing a random drawing for a free scramping class, card class, or crop (your choice)!  Here's the link:  www.facebook.com/TheScrapNStampShop

Stay tuned in - I'll be posting pics of my upcoming card class (February 12).  Details of the classes are on my web site at www.SandyMott.com - just hit the Class Schedule tab.

As always, thanks for visiting my blog!
