Gift Card and New Mojo Monday

Giving a department store or restaurant gift card is the gift of choice for my now teen-age granddaughters (other than cold, hard cash).  Having something pretty to put the card in was one of my projects of choice today.  I used the stamp set "B.Y.O.B.", (Buy Your Own Present) and the new Best Day Ever designer series paper (which is free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration).

It's pretty clean on the front, but when you open it up...woohoo!  The gift card goes right in the little pocket that says SPENDING.  The "belly band", with the cute little bow, holds everything securely in place.  It is sized perfectly to fit in a regular envelope.  Know anyone with a Spring birthday?

I am loving Monday mornings when I open my e-mail to find a new card sketch from Mojo Monday Blogspot.  Here is this week's sketch:
Here's my card:

Remember, if you're making a card from a sketch, you can leave out or put in whatever you want.  Makes creating so much easier.  The hardest part is deciding which stamp set to use.  I used the "For Peeps' Sake" set and again, the Best Day Ever (my favorite) free paper.  And did I tell you I'm in love with the bow builder punch?

Have a great day and happy scramping!
