GREAT WEATHER FOR CARD MAKING

Being housebound due to snow and cold weather does have advantages. It has forced me to my craft room. What a shame.  I may end up liking this weather after all.

Here's a 3-D kind of card using the Love is Kindness stamp set.  I stamped two images (one for the card base and one to color with the calypso coral blendabilities.  Then I fussy-cut the colored image and embossed only the back side of the tulips.  I pop-dotted it over the stamped image on the card base.  I love the way the tulips look 3-D.

Sometimes I want just a plain little note card that I can use for a gift.  It's when you want to do something nice for someone and it's not their birthday, a Holiday, or any other special occasion.  It's a "just because" gift.  And if you're going to stamp note cards, you need a little box to keep them in.  These note cards and the belly-banded box are fast and easy to whip up, making them a great gift for someone as well.  I used the  Sophisticated Serifs photopolymer stamp set.  The set comes with the flower groupings perfect for decorating the envelopes.

That's it for today!   Stay warm and safe everyone.

Happy Scramping!
