MONDAYS AND BUTTERFLIES

Hello everyone!  It's another Mojo Monday and I was thrilled with this week's sketch.  The sketch is perfect for the new photopolymer stamp set called "Just Kidding".  I love to receive humorous cards and this new stamp set is just so cute.  Anyway, here's my card:

I used Pink Pirouette, Coastal Cabana, and Chocolate Chip inks and papers.  I love this color combo, but there's really not a color I've met that I don't like!  Here's the Mojo Monday Sketch #390:

Here's the Just Kidding stamp set:

Last week, my club members made Easter cards and 3-D projects for goodies.  This was one of the cards they made.  I saw this on Pinterest (from A la cards.blogspot) and just had to case it (copy and share everything). Love the vellum overlay. The original card used tissue paper instead of vellum. Iran the vellum through the big shot with the Spring Flowers Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Then the flowers and leaves were colored in on the reverse side of the embossed vellum with Pool Party and Pistachio Pudding ink using blender pens. It gives the vellum just a hint of soft color. My kudos to whoever developed that technique.

I used Pool Party for my card base and Pistachio Pudding ribbon.  The butterfly was cut out from Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper. The white background cardstock was also embossed with the same embossing folder.   The rose bud in the middle of the butterfly was made using Simply Pressed Clay and the Blossoms Clay Mold - another few great products from Stampin' Up!

Have a wonderful week!

Sandy
