CREATIVE CIRCLE DESIGN TEAM REVEAL

Welcome to the first Creative Circle Design Team Blog Hop!  I am so proud to be a member of this group of talented ladies.  If you've come here from Liz Holloway's blog, you're in the right place.

Our first project is a "Murse" (man purse), the 3-D box designed by Liz Holloway.  The template is available for download below.

I chose my favorite new in-colors of Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder.  The brightness of Watermelon Wonder gave it just enough color to pop the more muted green.  I used the hostess stamp set "A Whole Lot of Lovely". In case you didn't recognize the paper, it's the new Envelope Paper (which I've discovered is not just for envelopes).  This paper is somewhat thinner than regular printed designer papers, but works well  to decorate the cardstock-based Murse and cards (and, of course, to create a matching envelope).

The itty-bitty flowers were made with the versatile Tree Builder Punch

The Murse will hold up to five or six cards with envelopes. You could also use it as a gift box. It's the perfect birthday or thank you gift!

Here are close-ups of the coordinating cards:

The Watermelon Wonder strip on this card below is the new Cotton Paper. I used my Fringe Scissors on the strip to add texture.

Liz has offered the Murse pattern for free and is available for download on her blog HERE.

I hope you've enjoyed seeing my project.  And now it's time to go take a look at Barb's wonderfully designed Murse and cards.  After Barb's blog, continue to click on the "Creative Circle Hop Over" button to get to Fran Sabad's and Liz Holloway's blog as well.  If you get lost, you can come back here and click on each person's name below:
