This month, Liz Holloway has designed a Backpack for us to personalize. It is adorable and can be decorated for any occasion. Since I'm a fan of Halloween, I chose to use the new stamp sets and papers in the Holiday Catalog (supplies used are listed at the bottom of the post). The cards are note-sized (3 1/2" by 5") and will fit perfectly in the backpack.
Here's the Backpack:
The buckle is made out of the new Black Glimmer Paper. The Spider Web Doilies really add to the backpack and cards (new in the Holiday Catalog). They are black on one side and white on the other. I'm not fond of real spiders, but this stamped little guy is adorable. I added a chain and tag (Sweet Hauntings and Howl-o-ween Treat stamp sets) because I plan to fill my backpack with treats.
I used the Star Border Punch to punch little stars from the Black Glimmer Paper and attached to the hat with tiny pieces of pop-up dimensionals.
I sure hope you enjoyed my Halloween project. It seems there's a Haunted House on the team's agenda for October and I can't wait to show it to you. In the meantime, read below to find out how you can win a free pattern.
