Today's card really put me in the Fall spirit. I like summer, but my favorite time of year is Fall. You know, when the leaves turn into beautiful blues and greens. Just kidding, of course. But these colors (Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz) sure look great on this card, don't you think? My Stamp Club members will be making this card next week:

The leaves and beautiful sentiment are from the "Lighthearted Leaves" stamp set and were heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I cut out the leaves with the Leaflits Framelits dies. I used the inks and a blender pen to achieve the colors within the leaves' designs.  I've listed the products I used below. Here's a close-up of the embossing:

I also used a strip of the Corrugated Paper (new in the Holiday Catalog) to serve as a backing for the leaves.  They are tied together with gold baker's twine. I also used the new Woodland Textured Embossing Folder and added a few stamped leaves to the inside of the card.

I hope you enjoyed this little taste of Fall. Stay tuned in the next few days for a 3-D Fall project using the new Square Pillow Box.

Just as a reminder, there's a lot of new clearance rack items - check them out HERE.  Also, there's a few items on the Weekly Deals (like Glimmer Paper and the Scalloped Topper Tag Punch) that you made need for your Holiday crafting. You can check out the weekly deals HERE.

Here are the products I used to make this card:
