A BIRTHDAY HELLO FOR A GIRL AND A BOY

Here is a couple of fairly easy cards I designed for Stamp Camp yesterday.  I used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set "Hello" that you can get for free with a $50 product order.  The set has adorable little embellishments (see supply list below). I love the simplicity of this layout . With just a few changes (paper and embellishment) the layout design becomes suitable for a girl or a boy.

I used the colors Soft Sky and Basic Gray for the Birthday Boy card. I chose the balloon from the "Sweet Stack" (annual catalog) and stamped the image twice, once in each color.  I fussy-cut the entire balloon in Soft Sky and just the "celebrate" from the Basic Gray image. I'm a big fan of fussy-cutting and my wonderful Camp attendees and Club members are so patient with me.

For the Birthday Girl card, I used Melon Mambo and Mossy Meadow. I ditched the balloon and added Melon Mambo cardstock flowers using the new "Blossom Bunch" punch.  I inked the flower edges slightly with Melon Mambo and added some darkened areas on the "hello" with a marker. The leaves were made with the "Festive Flower Builder" punch (carried over from the Holiday Catalog).

Hope you enjoyed viewing these creations.  Thanks for stopping by!
