Welcome to the Creative Circle Design Team Blog Hop for January. This month our project is a Valentine's Day mailbox and matching cards.
Although not typically my style, I decided to design something more elegant and sparkly. The new Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalog (which goes live today) has beautiful Blushing Bride Glitter paper and I'm loving it. I based my project on this glitter paper and the new "Love Blossom" Designer Series Paper and embellishments.
Here's the top of the mailbox:
The mailbox opens both in the front and on top. It has a divider in the middle, so it can hold a bag of candy or other goodies, as well as several cards and envelopes. I filled a bag full of candy kisses and tied it with the new Blushing Bride ribbon.
Here's one of the cards to go along with the gift mailbox. Details of all the products I used to create this project are listed below.
I decided to make a heart candy box with my Silhouette Cameo, using Stampin' Up! cardstock and embellishments. I think it goes nicely with the mailbox and cards. I decorated each Hershey® Nugget with the designer paper and little glitter hearts. The box holds about 6 nuggets and would make a cute Valentine's Day gift on it's own.
Here's another card to go with the ensemble:
And last, but not least, is the entire project.
Leave a comment on each of our blogs for a chance to win a free Mailbox pattern. In the meantime, you can purchase the pattern on Liz Holloway's Blog HERE. A lucky winner will be chosen by lottery and announced on January 19.
Now let's go see what beautiful creations Barb has made. Click on the envelope below to get to her blog. If you get lost, you can use the direct links I provided below.
Happy Stamping!
