I used the Holly Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on Very Vanilla cardstock. I sponged the embossing with Crumb Cake ink and colored the Santa with Real Red and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers. The Santa and backing were die cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits. The ribbon is the 3/8" Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon.
The inside square is 3 3/4" x 5", and the Real Red cardstock backing is 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". I tied it with ribbon and mounted it on the embossed card base.
The next card is quick and easy. I used the "This Christmas" Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Annual Catalog. This 12" x 12" printed paper is so pretty and, unlike other Designer Series Papers, you get 4 sheets each of 6 designs. Perfect for making Christmas cards. I used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green cardstock. While I fussy-cut the pine cone bouquet from one of the papers, the "Peace This Christmas" stamp set would be perfect for this card. The sentiment is from the "Reason for the Season" stamp set.
I added pearls to the centers of the pinecone cluster and flower.
I hope you enjoyed today's post. I would love to hear from you. Stay tuned for my first video tutorial ever - coming soon!
