SKETCH CHALLENGE USING VINTAGE LEAVES

Hello friends! Today's quick post is using "Vintage Leaves". I've had this set for some time and I'm finally working up some Fall cards. I decided to make one of my cards using the Sunday sketch #003 on "Stamps To Die For". The second card is just the reversed with some minor changes. I switched embossing folders and the sentiment.

These leaves are so realistic looking. Just adding a little sponging on the edges with Soft Suede really makes them pop. I used Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, and Pumpkin Pie cardstock and inks.

Here's the whole card. I used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder for the background. The sentiment is from "Acorny Thank You" and I wrapped Linen Thread around the top card layer. A complete list of supplies used to make this card is located below.

Here's the sketch that inspired my card:

Here's the card in reverse with a few minor changes. I used the Petal Burst embossing folder and kept the Linen Thread as in the above card. The sentiment is from the Paisley's and Petals Stamp Set. That set will be my next post, so stay tuned for the World Card Making Day Blog Hop!

Which card do you like better? I'd love to hear from you!

Happy Stamping,
