HELLO - Occasions Catalog Vertical Garden

Hello Stampers! Tonight I'm literally saying hello with this stamp set "Vertical Garden". I love big fat word stamps because they work so well with my Misti.

At first glance, I know you're thinking that I somehow embossed or fussy cut the "hello". The good news is that it's not fussy-cut. It's stamped and I'm going to explain how I did it.

Line up a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock, cut to 3 3/4" x 5", on your Misti (or you can use your Stamp-a-ma-jig). Place the Hello stamp on your paper where you want it, face down, and close the cover so the stamp is positioned. Ink the stamp with Whisper White Craft Ink. Clean the stamp. Move your Bermuda Bay cardstock piece over just a hair (less than 1/16" or so. Ink the stamp with Bermuda Bay Ink and re-stamp. Voila! The image appears embossed or fussy cut (raised).

The paper is a FREE Sale-A-Bration item called "Inside the Lines". It was a little bit of work to color, but I think it came out just fine. I used a Blender Pen and Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Pear Pizazz inks to color the flowers and leaves. The ribbon is the 1/8" Bermuda Bay stitched ribbon. The sentiment is from the "Tin of Cards" stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. I would love to hear from you.

Happy Stamping,

All supplies used to make this card are available in my online store (except for the Misti):

    1. Thanks Tonya! It's an easy one...the coloring takes a little time, but other than that it goes quick.
