PERFECT MIX - Perfect for Recipe Albums

I love to make recipe albums. I've made a few over the past years, mostly using general scrapbooking products. This new Occasions Catalog stamp set called "Perfect Mix", well, it's perfect for an opening page of a recipe album, a divider page, or the cover. It could also be framed and adorn your kitchen wall.

I do have to warn you. Sigh. It is ALL fussy cut (except for the sentiment). I always seem to gravitate to stamp sets without the coordinating dies. This set was just too cute to pass up, and as my friends will tell you, it wouldn't be like me not to fussy cut.

I stamped each image with Versamark onto Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, and Real Red cardstocks. I then embossed with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder. Some images, such as the spatulas, mixer, bowl, and eggs, were stamped both on colored and white cardstocks. I then did a partial fussy-cut. I thought it added a lot to each of those images. Now don't say "ugh", it really didn't take very long and the end product was well worth it.

I added some enamel dots and rhinestones to spiff it up a little bit (there are days I am all about that bling and this was one of them).

I hope you like my creation - I would love to hear from you!

Happy Stamping,

All supplies used in this project are available in my online store (except the "dots"):

  1. Just adorable! You are one creative woman!

  2. This stamp set is on my wish as I'm planning on creating a Recipe Cookbook for my daughter. I LOVE how you have placed all the images from this set around the sentiment. Your creation would be PERFECT to be used as a cover to a Recipe Cookbook! Love it Sandy!

  3. Oh my gosh! This is adorable! You and Brian King rock at fussy cutting!! Well done:-)

    1. Thank you Elisha! So honored to be put in the same sentence as Brian King!

  4. I saw this set and thought oh it's cute but what would I do with it. Then I saw your post and Wow! I have to have this set now.

  5. I love your creation. I would like to make it and frame it. Do you know about what size your project is so I would know what size frame to buy? Thank you very much for sharing.
