When I think of "color my world", my mind immediately jumps to the colors in a rainbow. So, instead of doing a watercoloring, or general coloring project, I decided to go more with a colorfully themed scrapbook page and card. And you just can't get much more colorful than this:
I always thought I wouldn't live long enough to see my grandchildren get married. But guess what? This is my beautiful Granddaughter, Kris, and her FIANCE, Jon. Yes! We're going to have a wedding and I couldn't be more excited for them. All my grandchildren are awesome, but Kris was my first grandchild and she is just incredibly special. She has always brought me so much joy. Having just graduated from Southern Illinois University, she and Jon are ready to tackle the world. Because she is so full of life, so colorful and enthusiastic in all she does, I thought this page was appropriate. Here's a congratulations card to match:
And because my youngest Grandchild (out of seven) is so darn cute, I thought this page would also be perfect for him:
In case you're wondering, I used the Designer Paper Series Stacks in brights and in-colors to make this page. The page is 12 x 12 with an approximate 11" circle. The little flowers were made with the Tree Builder Punch. There is a rhinestone in each of the little flowers. Colors are Pacific Point, Real Red, Tempting Torquoise, Daffodil Delight, Emerald Envy, and Pumpkin Pie. All edges were sponged in each corresponding color inks. The hearts were all die cut using the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. I stamped the word "Rainbow" using the Over The Rainbow stamp set in each color and fussy-cut the letters in the corresponding cardstocks. And don't look too close, but I forgot the "dot" over the "i" in rainbow. Did you notice that before I told you? Ha!
I hope you enjoyed today's post - I would love to hear from you.
