CREATIVE CIRCLE DESIGN TEAM - March Madness

Welcome to the Creative Circle Design Team Hop!  We're doing "March Madness" this month, which pretty much means anything goes. March Madness to some folks means football - but I'm not much of a football fan. To me, March madness takes me back to college days and those glorious Spring breaks. Yeah, basking in the sunshine at Daytona Beach. True madness back in those days, and I mean WAY back. But, we'd best let that go and talk about my project.

As you know, I love to fussy cut. I thought this stamp set "Day at the Beach" was perfect for this month's "anything goes" creation. This 12" x 12" Summer Sampler would make a perfect gift for someone who loves sunshine and the beach. You could also make this into a two-page scrapbook layout by substituting some squares with pictures.

I made a card to match the sampler:

This sampler is so much prettier in person. The Dazzling Diamonds glitter on everything makes it all pop. Here's a closer view.

I used Tempting Turquoise, Tangerine Tango, and Daffodil Delight cardstocks throughout this project. After a drury winter, albeit warmer than usual, I want sunshine and bright colors. A complete list of all the supplies I used is below the post.

Now let's head over to the fabulous Liz Holloway! Just click on the link below. Be sure to visit all our blogs and leave comments. It makes us so happy!
