Welcome to the Creative Circle Design Team blog hop for March. Spring Fling is our theme this month. Who's ready for Spring? I sure am! We've actually had a very warm winter so far,'s still winter.

I went for "easy" this month. Time is something a lot of us just don't have anymore. This is really an elegant and simple card and gift to make.

I love using the new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers. I especially love them with intricate flower stamps which have been embossed in either Gold or Silver embossing powders. I chose the "You're Inspiring" stamp set to showcase these other new delicate spring flowers.

I used the "Petal Burst" embossing folder, Gold Foil, and the Powder Pink 3/8" Shimmer ribbon to dress up the cards even further and add more sparkle. As I always say, a girl's got to have some sparkle and shine.

I decorated a simple store-bought flower arrangement to give as a gift for the hostess at Easter Dinner this year. It matches the card with the same floral design. Easy-peasy.

Here's the silk floral arrangement - kind of cute on it's own, huh?

 Love the sparkle!

I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy project this month. Please follow the listed links below to see all the other great creations by our Team!  Just click on their names and enjoy!

Happy Stamping,

  1. Great blog. You are right, we don't do easy peasy cards anymore. Beautiful!

  2. I wasn't the only one drawn to the daffodils. Your combinations of the gold foil with the gold embossing is really striking!

  3. Very attractive cards Sandy! To use gold embossed powder for this project is a very good idea, thank you.

  4. Beautiful creations! Makes me feel like spring is here!

  5. Gorgeous cards Sandra. Great colour coordination and love the gold embossing and the embossed background. :)

  6. What a delightful gift and matching card for your Easter hostess, I'm sure she'll love it. I really like the daffodils embossed and coloured this way. Really lovely. Thanks for sharing.
