CREATIVE CIRCLE DESIGN TEAM - Saying Goodbye to a Favorite

Welcome to the Creative Circle Design Team Hop. This month we are saying goodbye to a favorite that's on the Retiring List (sniff). I had lots of favorites and ended up doing four projects for you (and a bonus)!

Even though I'm sad to see certain stamp sets go away, I always look forward to the new. But, frankly, I'm really all about the Designer Papers. I am a scrapbooker at heart. Paper is my thing, even in cardmaking. I loved the printed Designer Papers in the 2017-2018 catalog and the 2018 Occasions Catalog (by the way, you can still order those until May 31 or until they are gone forever). Saying goodbye is not so hard because I still use them - in scrapbooking and making albums. Here are five of my favorites:

1. Tutti-Frutti

Do you clip dessert recipes out of magazines? I do. And I'm notorious for writing down recipes from friends on a scrap of paper. Now they'll be organized in my 6 x 6" purse album until I can try them and add to my cookbook.

Each page is a different type of dessert - cakes, cookies, pies, and bars. The pockets hold the clippings.

The back sides of the pages highlight all these beautiful papers.

2. Whole Lot of Lovely Designer Series Paper:

I love adding Dazzling Diamonds glitter to my flowers. Here's some close-ups - isn't this paper beautiful? The glitter really makes the flowers stand out (by the way, they are fussy-cut from the paper):

3. Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper

Love this character parade and the colors!

4.  Sweet Soiree

This little album is waiting for bridal shower pictures. My granddaughter is getting married next year and I can't wait to gift her this album full of pictures from her shower:

I finally learned the right way to bind an album - now I'll be unstoppable:

Each page has a pocket to either journal or add more pictures:

Here are the inside pages, ready to be decorated:

And as a bonus, here's an easy scrapbook layout I did when Sale-A-Bration ended. I taught a class with this layout at a recent crop:

5.  Bubbles and Fizz:

Can't wait to show you all the new catalog goodies. Attend one of my stamp camps (next one is May 19 - just click on the Calendar of Events above to contact me). You can now order the "Share What You Love Suite" in my online store. You can see the suite options HERE. May's host code is: YVZQ4ANQ. Also, see my Customer Rewards (in addition to Stampin' Up! Rewards).

I hope you enjoyed my projects. Now let's go see what our other talented designers have for us! JUST CLICK ON THE NAMES BELOW. And a special welcome to the new member of our team, Lisa Eisner!

Happy stamping,
